Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and complete metering methods. The firm employs around 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a protracted tradition of supporting clients and creating main industrial circulate technology for efficient, precise and safe dealing with of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are building our presence and expertise providing inside optimistic displacement pumps.”
