Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps which are 18m in length and the opposite 4 are methanol raise pumps which are 10m lengthy.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which were designed and constructed along the length of the pumps to watch the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m lengthy pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank during set up ensuring that as the pump is lowered into the tank it stays perfectly aligned, decreasing vibration and wear throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness examined and authorized by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore where the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being built.
The pump supply and set up had to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they needed to be put in into the vessel’s tanks by way of the deck before another deck above the pumps might be built. The first part was accomplished successfully over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning group supporting the customer with the installation and commissioning.
The FPSO will be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 area, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. เพรสเชอร์เกจ is designed to produce as a lot as ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It shall be geared up to deal with the monsoon circumstances prevalent on the field.
