Wilo has made two wastewater remedy acquisitions in Germany: FSM Frankenberger GmbH & Co KG in Pohlheim and WSM Walower Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbH in Walow.

Both corporations specialize in applied sciences for mechanical cleansing and therapy of wastewater.
“Thanks to the acquisitions, we will provide our prospects a good wider range of options,” stated Oliver Hermes, president and CEO of the Wilo Group. “We are constantly following our strategic growth from an skilled for heating purposes to a holistic solutions supplier for all functions within the transport, use and remedy of water and wastewater.”
The two corporations shall be built-in into Wilo’s Water Treatment Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
However, FSM Frankenberger and WSM Walower remain unbiased and will continue to be run by local managers.
