Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s fiftieth anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of manufacturing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to 100,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and now employs 120 individuals. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate production for marine bearing methods and different new projects awarded to the corporate.

The Antigo plant is the biggest of four Waukesha Bearings manufacturing sites and is supported by engineers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Waukesha Bearings also has manufacturing facilities in the UK, China and Mexico.
