Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time employees. In 2019, the plant expanded to 100,000 sq ft of producing space and now employs one hundred twenty individuals. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing techniques and different new tasks awarded to the company.
“We are happy with our success and progress to turn into a supplier of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national corporations from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
To rejoice the 50-year milestone, the company is planning an event at the facility for workers and extending its outreach to the community to coach them on the profession opportunities out there on the site. “We are looking for individuals within the Antigo neighborhood who need to be a half of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” mentioned Greenlund.
The Antigo plant is the most important of 4 Waukesha Bearings manufacturing sites and is supported by engineers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Waukesha Bearings also has manufacturing facilities within the UK, China and Mexico.
