The 30 deepwell gas pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It is also the second LNG gas pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the final 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled เกจวัดแรงดัน of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales could improve even additional in 2022.
“Until a couple of years in the past, the utilization of LNG as a marine fuel was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a pointy increase in fuel pump orders for deep sea vessels corresponding to container ships and car carriers,” said Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen because the provider of gasoline pump methods for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we aim to extend our market share further within the coming years.”
