Sulzer will provide four packaged pump units, which embrace a 9.7 MW motor, the 8-stage HPcp pump and all the auxiliary gear required for the challenging offshore surroundings.
Due to be located seventy seven km offshore from Espirito Santo, Brazil, the Whale Park FPSO will function in 1,400 m deep waters, processing one hundred,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic metres of pure fuel per day. First oil on deck is targeted by 2024.
Sulzer has a long-standing relationship with the engineering procurement and construction (EPC) firm concerned within the project.
