Sulzer has announced the launch of the world’s greatest medium-consistency pump, the MCE93-400, which has been in-built response to customer demand for bigger production charges in pulp mills.
The pumping of liquids with a excessive dry solids content material – medium consistency – is essential for processes in the pulp and paper trade.
In recent years, manufacturing charges have spiralled. As diaphragm seal , Sulzer developed the MCE93-400 for a customer venture with record-breaking values.
The capacity of the pump reaches as a lot as 10,000 air dry metric tonnes per day with the circulate up to 940 l/s and the pinnacle as much as 180 m. The MCE pump is designed for a strain rating of 25 bar.
