Thames Water approached Seepex in regards to the Maple Lodge WwTW following the successful delivery of a similar challenge on the water and wastewater service provider’s Mogden Lane WwTW.
During the Maple Lodge WwTW session, the Seepex staff carried out a full technical review with the key stakeholders to know the challenges and aims with the operation of the drum thickening course of and related pumps. A business and technical proposal was produced which included progressive cavity pumps together with digital technology.
The scope of supply covers the supply and installation of SCT AutoAdjust drum thickener feed, discharge and back mixing progressive cavity pumps together with Seepex digital solutions including pump monitoring, connected providers and controls.
