Amarinth has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a model new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps that are 18m in size and the opposite four are methanol raise pumps which are 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and constructed alongside the length of the pumps to observe the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m lengthy pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank throughout set up making certain that as the pump is lowered into the tank it remains completely aligned, decreasing vibration and wear throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps were independently witness tested and certified by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore where the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
The pump delivery and installation had to align with the FPSO build schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they needed to be put in into the vessel’s tanks through the deck before another deck above the pumps could be constructed. The first phase was completed efficiently over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning team supporting the client with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO shall be positioned in the KG-DWN 98/2 field, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to supply as much as ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. เกจวัดแรงดันดิจิตอล will be outfitted to handle the monsoon conditions prevalent at the area.
